The 4GB Patch (also known as Large Address Aware patch) is a tiny but essential utility that modifies 32-bit Windows executables to use up to 4 GB of virtual memory instead of the default 2 GB limit. For Ultima Online, this is particularly useful when loading large custom maps, high-resolution textures, or running heavily modified clients that would otherwise crash with out-of-memory errors. Simply run the patch on your client.exe to enable the expanded memory space. Works on any 32-bit PE executable.
